Hi
I thought we will have those great tournaments less frequently... since we won't what about a change of name? (it's weird to see the 2nd Biggest, I guess it will be even bigger than the 1st one was)
I will spread the world about it in Hungary;)
Shouldn't we make another tournament with normal timelimit like 20+50, the pairings could be done similar to the team championship, and we could have a lot more participants. |

As variant of tournaments name:
Master Kurnik
As proposal:
4 stages of Master Kurnik per year (for example) - Master Kurnik 1-09, Master Kurnik 2-09, Master Kurnik 3-09, Master Kurnik 4-09.
Final tournament in December for best players (for example 32 best) - Master Kurnik F-09.
The winner of Master Kurnik F-09 will get the title MASTER KURNIK 2009. |

I agree with andOne
I try to play good games in the tournaments, but is difficult for me play, with a 10minute/10 byoyomi or this 7m/30s.
Why not the standard 15m/30 like shogidojo? |

becouse we want to attract so many people as possible.
Time 7+30 it is about 3-3,5 hour it is quite much 3,5 hour in internet playing shogi;p
15+30 it would be about 5 hours I think it can be so much for many people |

yes, i know but then some kind of qualifiers can work, 2 or 3 with 10 people 3 rounds, the better 3-4 players go to final, and then a round robin with 8 players, with schedulle games? Well... is another idea.
Ok, but i still loosing my games with 10m/10s, or 7m/30s, i run off time or make "brillants" moves. |
