I'm wondering how many of you have a shogi set for your own and where to buy. I think your answer will be good for those who don't have it yet but would like to buy.

I bought a set at Yutopian.com. It's not the greatest set, but it is functional.

Some vendors I can recommend (I have actually bought there):

http://www.shogi.de/material.html (Germany)

http://www.hebsacker-verlag.de/shop.php?cPath=48&osCsid=vbn4kl0qs1abs127dm90qdlblemu5bla (Germany)

George Hodges (mail order: george.hodges@talk21.com, UK)
I found an old price list here: http://moje.shogi.sk/system/files/1190021526/HogesPricelist05.pdf
(prices may differ, also depends on where you live, as shipping costs are already included. It's best to contact George directly for an up to date list,
but it should give you an impression what you can find there)

http://japanese-games-shop.com/shogi.html (Japan)

Those seeking for high quality boards and pieces should have a look here:
http://japanese-games-shop.com/horikoma.html

Shops, I haven't tried yet but these look promising, too:

http://www.thetradingcentre.co.uk/products.asp?category=Shogi (UK)

http://www.shogi.pl/index.php?id=Sklep (Poland)

http://www.shogi.fr/web/shogi/shogi_fr.nsf/frmRelocator?ReadForm&Element=vwProducts%3FOpenView&RefID=9A25B1965F4A545EC125728F0050FBBC (France)

http://www.schaakengo.nl (Netherlands, follow the link "Spellen -->Denkspellen")

If you are looking for pieces with symbols instead of kanji, have a look at this site:
http://www.chessusa.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=YMCG&Product_Code=B0-104&Product_Count=&Category_Code= (USA)
(Alternatives: George Hodges or shogi.fr)

http://www.paydaygames.com/acatalog/Shop_Shogi___Japanese_Chess_25.html (UK)

If money doesn't matter, take a look here:
http://www.kurokigoishi.co.jp/english/index.html (Japan)

You have to switch to Japanese in order to see the Shogi equipment:
http://www.kurokigoishi.co.jp/onlineshop/syogikoma/index.html

Apart from this you can always find Shogi sets at

www.amazon.com or
www.ebay.com

I bought mine online from paydaygames.co.uk
It's a very simple little set - leatherette board and plastic pieces - but better than paper.
