I have been in this forum for a long time but failed to make a proper introduction about myself.

I am widely known as "Ryou Takehito" in the internet. However this is not my real name because I do not want to disclose my real name to the internet.

I am currently an active Shogi player in Malaysia with a strength of 1-dan amateur. I have been playing Shogi actively for more than a year.

I spend every Saturday going to 'Shogi Club' in 'Japan Club Kuala Lumpur' and play against 1-dan or 2-dan amateur Japanese players.

I am trying to become a professional Shogi player in Japan in less than 5 years time. The reason? It's because I love Shogi too much that I wish I could play Shogi the whole day and make Shogi as my main career. Lastly I only have little interest in promoting Shogi because promoting Shogi involves huge planning and time which may interrupt my time for studying Shogi.

Nice to meet you all and please don't hate me for not wanting to promote Shogi in Malaysia. =)
