This is GOLD

It's so different reading the manga instead of watching the anime

In this volume luffy defeats doflamingo and dressrosa is freed, which causes many problems. 1) so many of countries no longer have a source for weapons, 2) same with devil fruit businesses that are now out because of the SMILE factory, and 3) the wild government 's reaction to all of those things.

I have so much respect for Fujitori; his apology is a HUGE DEAL especially to the world government - they're angry because they only found out about dressrosa thro the news rather than official reports. They don't want to admit that they were at fault, allying with a powerful pirate such as doflamingo, and that another pirate (luffy) was the one who defeated him. We've seen this before - in Alabasta with crocodile and smoker. I think this again brings into question the conflict between the marines and pirates - similar to Grap's conflict over saving ace, his grandson, before he war started. What's more important now is that Akainu told Fujitori not to show his face at the headquarters without luffy and law. And here were just adding more enemies on the straw hats' long list - I'm sure Fujitori will wanna be involved later when luffy faces kaido (after defeating big mom)

Sabo. Oh my sabo sabo sabo where do I even begin. First off, I CALLED IT. Everyone was fussing about how he actually died thirteen years ago and I just KNEW dragon saved him. The revolutionary army was not just shocked to find out the luffy is dragon's son - but also because he's sabo's brother. We finally get a flashback from the time luffy found out sabo came back - I'm sososoos glad he got to eat the mera mera no mi. I was really shook because one part wasn't in the anime - the part where burgess tells sabo that when ace found out about his execution he said "don't tell my brother" not knowing that he would make the headlines for weeks before his execution day.

There's also so much going on with the rest of the warlords of the sea - eusass kid is forming alliance with two others - they already found out the strawhats goal is to bring down kaido. They say they don't care because now they want to fight shanks BUT kaido himself shows up, after surviving yet another suicide attempt, and it seems that he wants all three of them to be on his side

Having already watched the anime now I'm wondering if the vinsmokes also bought weapons from doffy???? Maybe that's why they want sanji to marry big mom 's son all of the sudden - they needed their rival to become their strong ally

All of dressrosa 's politics aside, this follows a pattern we've all recognized ages ago - we all know as soon as luffy wakes up the straw hats are going to have to flee the island and go find sanji, Nami, brook and chopper

Eiichiro Oda (尾田 栄一郎 Oda Eiichirō) is a Japanese manga artist, best known as the creator of the manga and anime One Piece.

As a child, Oda was inspired by Akira Toriyama's works and aspired to become a manga artist. He recalls that his interest in pirates was probably sparked by the popular TV animation series titled Vicky the Viking. He submitted a character named Pandaman for Yudetamago's classic wrestling manga Kinnikuman. Pandaman was not only used in a chapter of the manga but would later return as a recurring cameo character in Oda's own works.
